What do film programmers look for when programming films? What are best practices when submitting to festivals? What can you do to increase your chance of getting into festivals? Join this fantastic panel of programmers and pick their brains about all things film festivals.

Raul Benitez is currently the Senior Programmer at the Midwest Film Festival, and the After Dark programmer at the Chicago International Film Festival. Raul also programs at Comfort Station Logan Square, FACETS cinema, and The Chicago Underground Film Festival.

Greg Gerard is the Executive Director & the Artistic Director of the Beloit International Film Festival.

Ben Reiser programs films for the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison, WI, as well as the University of Wisconsin Cinematheque.

Ines Sommer is a filmmaker, educator and film programmer, who has served as Chicago Filmmaker's Program Director, programmed film events in Evanston, IL, directed the long-running Reeltime film and discussion series and the popular Talking Pictures Film Festival. She also programs for the annual Doc Chicago conference & showcase.  Her most recent film, The Hills is playing directly before this panel, as 12:10, in room B222.

Josh Wolff is the Director Of Film for The Gorton Center in Lake Forest, IL.
